This doesn’t look like Kizomba…

About 4 years ago, I took a teacher training that literally change my life as a kizomba dancer. While we were going through drills, the professor stopped me and said:

“you’re not doing the movement properly, you seem to have salsa in your blood.”

I learned to dance salsa before I discovered and fell in love with kizomba. As a new kizomba dancer, I felt many of the basics were the same and it showed in the way I danced. Since the, I worked hard everyday to practice my Kizomba foundation and basics to be true to the essence of the dance.
